• Variable start times from 6:00 AM to 9:00 AM with call
• No evenings or weekends

Schedule Requirements

• Call required: 1 shift per week and every 4th weekend
• Holidays are covered by call
• Weekend requirement: not required
• Floating: not required

Required Qualifications

• BLS certification
• At least 2 years of OR experience

Preferred Experience

• Experience with Cerner Surginet
• Experience with CV cases or robotic cases if applicable

Work Setting

• OR with 4 beds in the main OR and 8 beds in the pavilion
• Main OR cases are mostly ortho, including total hips, knees, and joints
• Pavilion cases include neuro, ortho spine, CV, general, gynecology, urology, and ENT
• 15–25 cases per day
• About 400 cases per month
• 20–25% of cases are inpatient

Additional Details

• Scrub support is used
• Scrubbing is a plus but not required
• Charge nurse does not take patients or cases
• Scrub color is provided by the hospital
• Orientation includes 1 week of paperwork and 1 week with a preceptor
• Anesthesia is handled by anesthesiologists, not CRNAs
• Critical patients go directly to ICU from the OR
