Job Opportunity: RN (Registered Nurse) - Mixed Skilled PCU Med Surg

Location: Kearney, Nebraska

Contract Length

13 weeks

Unit and Patient Population

Mixed Skilled PCU (Progressive Care Unit) and Medical/Surgical patients
New unit with both MSU and PCU status patients

Staffing Ratios

PCU group: 1 nurse to 4 patients
Medical/Surgical group: 1 nurse to 5 patients

Work Schedule

12-hour day shifts
Every other week (EOW) schedule
Possible 2 extra shifts required every 6 weeks

Float Assignments

Will float to Telemetry and Medical/Surgical units
Considered "First to Float"

Required Certifications

ACLS (AHA)
BLS (AHA)
NIHSS

Required Qualifications

Registered Nurse (RN) license appropriate for Nebraska
Specialty: Mixed Skilled PCU Med Surg
Years of experience: Not explicitly stated; assume standard RN experience for PCU/Med Surg roles
