Job Description

The Registered Nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for an identified group of patients in an inpatient environment. This role involves delivering care primarily to an adult patient population. The position follows essential nursing functions adapted from the ANA Nursing: Scope and Standards of Practice.

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Wisconsin
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Minimum of 1 year of experience in Telemetry Progressive Care Unit (PCU) within the last year
Experience in Cardiac Telemetry care
Experience working with patients with myocardial infarction (MI), congestive heart failure (CHF), chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), stroke, and stable arrhythmias
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
