Job Description

As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for an identified group of primarily adult patients in an inpatient setting. This role requires competency in delivering care to patients needing closer cardiac monitoring and assessment.

Required Skills & Experience

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Wisconsin.
• Minimum of 1 year of telemetry experience, with telemetry experience within the last year.
• Experience working with a diverse patient population requiring closer cardiac monitoring and assessment, including myocardial infarction (MI), congestive heart failure (CHF), chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), stroke, and stable arrhythmias.
• American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers.
• American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification for Healthcare Providers.
• Associate of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing.

Required Education

• Associate’s degree in Nursing.

Preferred Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.

Required Certifications & Licensure

• Current Registered Nurse license in the state of Wisconsin or a Multi-state Nursing License through the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).
• American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers or equivalent.
• AHA HeartCode Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) for healthcare providers or equivalent.

Additional Information

• No prior travel experience is explicitly required.
• This position involves working in an inpatient environment with a focus on cardiac telemetry patients.
