RN - Nurse Educator

Location: Brooklyn, New York
Employment Type: Acute - Nursing
Contract Length: 14 weeks

Job Overview

Provide coverage for all inpatient Maternal Child Health (MCH) areas including Labor & Delivery (L&D), Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), Mother-Baby Unit (MBU), and Pediatrics.
Support education for labor and delivery, NICU, and postpartum care.

Required Qualifications

Experience

Minimum 1 year of experience as an Educator, with educator experience within the last year.
Experience working with Maternal-Fetal patients.
Labor and Delivery experience.
Medical/Surgical nursing experience.

Education

Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited nursing program.

Licensure & Certifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York.
American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS) certification.

Work Schedule

Approximately 7 hours per day.
Approximately 37.5 hours per week.

Additional Information

Strong Labor & Delivery skills are essential.
The role involves educational support across multiple inpatient MCH units.
