Medical Technologist - Lab Technologist

Location: Detroit, Michigan
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Afternoon (2:30 PM – 11:00 PM)
Hours: 40 hours per week (8 hours per day)

Job Summary

Perform routine and complex analytic procedures on blood and/or other body fluids or specimens using manual techniques and laboratory instruments under general supervision.

Required Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Medical Technologist, including experience within the last year.
Bachelor's degree in medical technology, medical laboratory sciences, clinical laboratory sciences, Chemistry, Microbiology, or Biology.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Experience with Beckman Coulter equipment, including AU system experience.

Additional Information

Interview format: MS Teams or in-person if local.
Preferred certification at the technologist level from nationally recognized agencies (ASCP, NCA, ASM, AABB, ACS, or HEW) is a plus but not mandatory.
