- Night shift
- 36 hours per week
- 12-hour shifts
Role Summary
- Independently performs, interprets, and correlates clinical laboratory tests to support physician diagnosis and treatment.
- Performs high- and moderate-complexity testing.
- Evaluates specimens for pre-analytical requirements.
- Communicates critical test results, testing interpretation, and workflow status.
- Handles quality control, instrument maintenance and troubleshooting, reagent and supply inventory, documentation, and corrective actions.
- Trains new employees and students.
Required Qualifications
- Medical Lab Technician experience within the last year
- 1 year of Medical Lab Technician experience
- Experience in an inpatient setting
- A bachelor's degree in biological science or a related laboratory science field
- Medical Laboratory Technician certification/license
