Job Description

Provide nursing care to pediatric ICU patients under general supervision.
Manage an assigned group of patients, documenting responses to treatments and changes in physician orders.
Assist physicians with patient examinations and minor diagnostic procedures.
Monitor physiological data and intervene as necessary.
Administer medications, intravenous infusions, and blood products.
Deliver competent patient care and communicate care plans to patients and families.
Inform patients and families about hospital procedures and make referrals as needed.
Delegate tasks to support staff.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Oklahoma.
Minimum 1 year of Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) experience within the last year.
Level 1 ICU experience.
Associate of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
