Overview

Travel assignment in Wausau, Wisconsin
Contract length: 13 weeks
Start: ASAP
Guaranteed hours: 40 per week
Shift: 8 hours, typically 7:00 AM–4:30 PM
On-call: 1–2 weeknights as needed, with a 30-minute response time
Weekend/holiday coverage: every 4th weekend for call; holidays as needed
Floating: may float to other locations in the central region if needed

Required Qualifications

Valid Interventional Radiology Technologist license in Wisconsin
Interventional Radiology Technologist experience within the last year
2 years of experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist
ARRT
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Associate degree or certificate

Preferred Experience

High-quality radiologic exams
Interventional medical sonography exams
Cone beam CT exams with three-dimensional reconstruction
Complex interventional radiology, vascular interventional, and neuro interventional cases

Additional Details

Fast-paced IR unit
Typical volume: 4–6 patients per day
Scrubs: any color
Epic experience is highly preferred
Travelers may be placed on call for low census hours
Call-back minimum is 2 hours
Flu season policy requires masking at all times for travelers who decline flu and COVID vaccination
