Nuclear Med Tech

Overview

Travel assignment in Wausau, Wisconsin.
Primary location: Aspirus Wausau Hospital.
13-week contract.
Start: ASAP.
Guaranteed hours: 40 per week.
Shift: 8-hour days, starting between 6:00 AM and 8:00 AM, with occasional flexibility.
Weekend: NA.
Holiday call rotation: NA.
On call: may be low censused and put on call; call-back minimum is 2 hours.
Floating: may be required to float to Aspirus Merrill, Antigo, Medford, or Stanley if needed.
Radius rule: traveler must be outside 50 miles from the facility.

Required Qualifications

BLS.
ARRT(N) or CNMT.
AHA or ARC certifications.
1-2 years of experience.
Associate's degree.

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of SPECT/CT and/or PET/CT.
Siemens equipment experience.

Unit / Clinical Details

General Nuclear Medicine studies.
Common exams include bone scan, renal, HIDA, gastric emptying, thyroid, lympho, cardiacs, and parathyroid.
Equipment includes Symbia Evo SPECT, Symbia Intevo SPECT/CT, Capintec Thyroid probe, and Siemens Biograph Vision X PET/CT Scanner.
Charting systems: Epic and Merge PACS; facility will train.

Additional Notes

Scrub colors: any color or print, must be clean and work appropriate.
Flu season policy: if declining flu and COVID vaccination, mask must be worn at all times.
