Job Opportunity: X-ray Tech (Travel)

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Position requires working primarily at a hospital setting with guaranteed 40 hours per week.
• Shift Requirements: 8 or 12-hour day or PM shifts, with a chance of overnight shifts.
• Float Requirements: Must be able to float to Surgery, Outpatient, Emergency Department, Fluoroscopy, and DEXA.
• On Call/Call Back: Possible call shifts with a 30-minute response time.
• Weekend/Holiday Rotation: Approximately 2 weekends per month; possible holiday shifts including Christmas and New Year's.
• Charting Experience: EPIC Radiant system required.
• Scrub Color: Teal (provided by department).

Requirements

• Licenses/Certifications:

  • Registered Radiologic Technologist (R) from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • BLS Certification (BLS Provider or Healthcare Provider) from American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or Military Training Network.

• Education:

  • Graduate of a 2-year accredited Radiologic Technology program.

• Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as an X-ray Tech.
  • At least 1 year of DEXA training/experience is required.

• Skills:

  • Comfortable performing routine X-rays and portable X-rays in a hospital setting.
  • Comfortable working in the Operating Room (OR).

Additional Information

• Radius Rule: Must be located at least 50 miles outside the hospital.
• Minimal Return to Office (RTO) requests around holidays.
• Contract includes eligibility for 36 hours of low census unbillable hours; travelers may be on call during these hours and will receive call back pay if called in.
• Guaranteed set hours per week except during holidays when the unit may be closed.
