Day Surgery RN

Role Overview

• Registered Nurse in Operating Room / Day Surgery RN
• Travel assignment in Mukwonago, Wisconsin
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Start date: ASAP
• Guaranteed hours per week: 30
• Shift: 3x10s, 6:45 AM - 5:15 PM

Location

• Primary location: Mukwonago Memorial Hospital

Required Qualifications

• BLS
• ACLS
• Wisconsin RN license
• At least 2 years of Day Surgery RN experience

Preferred Qualifications

• At least 1 prior travel contract completed

Clinical / Unit Details

• Unit overview: orthopedic and medical surgical patients
• Surgery covers OB c-sections and all hospital inpatient and outpatient surgeries
• Orthopedic service line is 40% of total volume
• Proficiency with Orthopedic Hana table
• Total Knees and Hips / strong ortho
• Cataract procedure
• C-section circulator role

Scheduling / Coverage

• Call: 1x a week and every 3rd weekend
• Works Thanksgiving
• One on-call team provides 24/7 coverage

Float Scope

• May float to Waukesha Memorial and Oconomowoc
• Float outside clinical skills only if approved by the employee, unit manager, shift advisor, and Staffency

Other Notes

• Current EPIC experience within 6 months is required
• Blue scrubs provided
• COVID-19 vaccine required unless medical or religious exemption applies
