Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical / Telemetry

Location: Pikeville, Kentucky
Employment Type: Travel

Contract Length

8 weeks

Specialty

Medical Surgical / Telemetry
Minimum 1 year RN experience in specialty
Must have Level I or Level II Trauma experience

Shift & Hours

12-hour night shifts
Guaranteed 48 hours per week (36 hours not accepted)
Every other weekend and holiday required unless approved time off

Unit & Patient Info

15-45 beds depending on unit
Patient ratio: 1:6
340-bed Level II Trauma Center
Float between Med Surg/Telemetry and other inpatient areas; may assist as aide if needed

Required Certifications

KY/Compact RN License
AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, NIHSS
EKG test required during compliance process

Skills & Experience

Ability to read and interpret telemetry strips
Charting experience preferred with Care View/EPIC (training provided onsite)
Must be resilient, adaptable, reliable, social, and a team player

Additional Requirements

COVID vaccine required unless medical/religious exemption applies; if exempt, weekly testing at traveler’s expense
Scrub color: black
