Job Opportunity: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Travel Position

Location: Neenah, Wisconsin
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 12-hour night shifts (6:30 PM - 7:00 AM), every 3rd weekend required
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Start Date: ASAP

Job Description

• Provide respiratory therapy coverage across multiple inpatient units including COVID, Medical-Surgical (MS), and Emergency Department (ED).
• Responsibilities include adult airway and ventilator management, as well as basic pediatric airway and ventilation for the ED.
• Float to a nearby cardiac hospital as needed.
• No on-call or call-back requirements.
• Charting experience with Epic required within the last year.

Requirements

Licensure & Certifications

• Wisconsin Licensure as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
• AHA BLS (Basic Life Support)
• AHA ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• AHA PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)

Education

• Graduate from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program

Experience

• Minimum 2+ years acute care experience preferred
• Critical care and emergency respiratory therapy skills required

Additional Requirements

• Prior travel experience required
• Must not be currently working or living within 50 miles of the facility’s corporate campus
• Ability to adapt well to change, be resilient, and work hard
• Social and team-oriented personality preferred

Work Environment

• Facility has more trauma cases compared to nearby locations
• Scrub colors provided
• Orientation includes an 8-hour unbillable period
• Guaranteed hours except during holidays when the unit may be closed
