- Unit Type: Operating Room
- Number of Beds: 16 Operating Rooms
- Staffing:
- Day Shift: 16 RNs, 16 Surgical Assistants, 16 Surgical Techs
- Evening Shift: Tapered staffing
- Night Shift: Call only
- Patient Ratios: 1:1
- Type of Equipment: OR equipment including robotics, neurosurgery, general, plastics, urology, ortho, etc.
- EMR System: Meditech
Required Qualifications
- Licensure: Active Virginia State Surgical Assistant Licensure required upon submittal
- Skill Set:
- Must Have:
- Robotic experience
- Ortho experience
- Neuro/spine experience
- Preferred:
- Experience in all procedures except transplant and cardiac surgery
Work Environment
- Best Personality Fit: Team player
- Dress Code: Hospital-provided scrubs
- Call Rotation: Average of 2 call shifts per week (includes weekday nights and weekends)
