Job Summary
Seeking a Radiation Therapist (not Radiation Technologist) to join a Joint Commission Accredited facility offering a full spectrum of diagnostic, therapeutic, and rehabilitative services in both inpatient and outpatient settings. The position involves working in Radiology with exposure to a diverse patient population including neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.

- Department: Radiology
- Setting: Acute Care, Bedside Portables, Children's Hospital, ER/Trauma, Level 1 Trauma, Mobile Unit, OR, Outpatient
- Procedures: Fluoroscopy/Contrast Studies, Enema Studies, Myelograms, OR Studies
- Equipment: C-Arm, GE Signa, TOSHIBA
- EHR Systems: McKesson, Meditech
- Call Requirements: Yes
- Float Requirements: CT, MRI
- Expected number of scans per shift: 100-150
Required Qualifications
- License: Radiation Therapist License (specific to Radiation Therapist role)
- Certifications: ARRT (T) Certification, BLS
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience as a Radiation Therapist
- State Requirements:
- Must comply with New Mexico state fingerprinting and background check requirements prior to hire.
- May start on a 14-day waiver while background check is processed but must be supervised during this period.
Additional Information
- Orientation occurs weekly on Mondays.
- Candidates must be located 60 miles or more from the facility to qualify as Travel.
- The facility is located in a region known for year-round sunshine and outdoor recreational activities.
