Shift: Days, 4x10 (06:30 AM - 5:00 PM)
Weekly Hours: 36 hours guaranteed
Weekend Hours: As required, approximately every other weekend

Job Description

• Circulate and monitor procedures in the cardiac interventional cath lab.
• Provide direct patient care for all age groups including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Coordinate patient care activities with ancillary departments to optimize patient comfort and care.
• Practice within the scope of nursing preparation and consistent with Missouri Nurse Practice Act and professional standards.

Unit Information

• 3 Cardiac Cath Labs
• Electronic Medical Record system: EPIC

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Missouri
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Cardiac Invasive Cath Lab nursing, with experience within the last year
• BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
• ACLS certification

Preferred Qualifications

• 4 years of experience in Cardiac Invasive Cath Lab nursing

Additional Information

• Flu vaccination or approved exemption required for all travelers from November 1 to April 1 (declinations not accepted).
• Scrubs provided by facility; dress code must be followed strictly.
