Job Opportunity: RN - Cardiac Cath Lab
Location: Charleston, South Carolina
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Work schedule includes every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees.
- Position is in the Cardiac Cath Lab unit.
- Unit specifics:
- 2 labs
- Approximately 10 cases daily
- Equipment used: GE X-ray
- Documentation systems: Maclab, Meditech
- Scheduling requirements: 7-9 call days monthly, including at least 1 weekend.
- Procedures performed on unit include: LHC, PCI, TAVR, PPM, Impella, IABP.
- Advanced skills needed: Emergency medication knowledge.
- Dress code: Scrubs provided.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in South Carolina
- Cardiac Cath Lab experience with a minimum of 2 years, including experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- ACLS certification
- BLS certification
- Knowledge of emergency medications
