Lab Tech Travel Opportunity

Location: Elko, Nevada

Job Summary

Seeking a Lab Tech with expertise in Chemistry, Hematology, Coagulation, Urinalysis, Blood Bank, Microbiology, and Special Chemistry. This position is a night shift role with 4 x 10-hour shifts per week and rotating weekends. No call requirements.

Unit & Work Environment

• Department: Laboratory
• Shift: Night
• Weekly Hours: 40 guaranteed
• Equipment used includes: Sysmex XN-2000, Atellica CI1900, Centaur XPT, CA-660, Microscan WalkAway40, BD BacTec, RapidPoint 550, iSTAT, BioFirm Film Array, Cepheid GeneXpert
• Electronic Health Record (EHR) system: Medhost
• Patient Population: All patient populations
• Dress Code: Any color or style of scrubs allowed; jerseys, fan gear with logos, athleisure, and open-toed shoes are not acceptable

Required Qualifications

• Valid Medical Technologist license in Nevada
• Medical Technologist with a minimum of 3 years of experience, including experience within the last year
• Bachelor’s Degree in Clinical Laboratory Sciences
• Experience in Chemistry, Hematology, Coagulation, Blood Bank, and Special Chemistry
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
