Job Description
The Cardiac Cath Lab Technician is responsible for assisting with imaging studies in the Cardiac Cath Lab. Key responsibilities include:
- Performing studies timely under the direction of the Cardiologist, Chief Technologist, or Director of Imaging Services.
- Demonstrating critical thinking skills and judgment.
Shift Details
- Shift Type: Day shift (4x10's)
- Shift Hours: 0700 - 1730
- On Call: 10 days of call per month
- Response Time for STEMI Calls: 30 minutes
Requirements
- Certifications Required:
- ACLS
- BLS
- X-Ray Certification
- Experience:
- 2 years preferred
- Experience in circulating, monitoring, and familiarity with STEMI and high-risk equipment (Impella, IABP, Anari)
- Patient Ratio: 3:1
- Must be a Radiology Technologist
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
