Unit Profile

Unit: Cath Lab – Interventional Labs
Number of Beds: 3 Cath Labs (2 Dedicated Cath Labs / 1 Hybrid OR)
Patient Ratios: 1:1
Unit Staffing: Lead Tech, RN, RCIS (3-4 person teams: 2 Techs, 2 RNs)
Documentation System: EPIC Cupid

Scheduling

Shifts: 4–10-hour shifts with call
Floating Policy: Not applicable

Patient Experience Requirements

Experience Needed: ICU/ER experience

Certifications Required

ACLS & BLS
RN- RN RCIS-Tech

Requested Skill Set

Critical care gtt management
Cath Lab experience in RHC/LHC - CTO and complex interventions
Structural Heart experience (desired but not required)

Procedures Performed

RHC/LHC, Complex PCI, CTO, TAVR, TMVR (Mitral Clips), Watchmen, PFO closure, ASD/VSD closure, TVP placement, Impella CP & RP, IABP

Dress Code

RN: Royal blue and black
Tech: Navy blue and black
