Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Travel Position

Location: Belton, Missouri

Job Details

• Employment Type: Travel
• Contract Length: 12 weeks
• Facility Type: Inpatient Speech Departments at two hospitals (split position)
• Unit: Inpatient Speech
• Number of Beds: 71 beds at one hospital, 88 beds at the other
• Scheduling: Weekdays, typically 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM depending on caseload
• On Call: Not required
• Floating: Between two hospital locations (requires driving)

Requirements

• Licenses/Certifications:

  • ASHA Certification (CCC’s required)
  • Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) License
  • BLS Certification
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in Speech Language Pathology specialty
• Prior Travel Experience: Not specified (assumed not required)

Skills & Procedures

• Must have inpatient experience
• Advanced skills: Video Swallows procedure

• Documentation system used: Meditech
• Dress code: Scrubs (no specific color)
• Patient experience requirements include performing Video Swallows
