Travel RN - ICU Position
Location: Conroe, Texas
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Unit Information
- Unit: ICU
- Number of Beds: 30
- Number of Staff: 82
- Shift Type: Day/Night (2 Charge Nurses / 15 Nurses, varies with acuity and 1:1 needs)
- Patient Ratios: 1:1, 2:1, and 3:1
- Equipment: CRRT, IABP, Impella (not mandatory)
- EMR System: Meditech
Required Qualifications
- License: Registered Nurse (RN) License for Texas
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH Certification
- Experience: Minimum 1 year ICU experience
- Required Skills:
- ICU experience with ventilator management and cardiovascular drips
Preferred Skills
- Neuro ICU experience
Typical Procedures Performed
- Thoracentesis
- Arterial line and central line placement
Additional Information
- Floating Areas: Intermediate Medical Unit (IMU)
- Dress Code: Royal blue scrubs
- Weekend Shifts: 4 weekend shifts per schedule
- On Call: None
