Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Details
- Specialty: Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN)
- Shift: Night shift (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), rotating weekends
- Call Requirement: No call
- Patient Ratio: 1:2
- Unit Beds: 32
- Staff on Unit: Approximately 150
- Typical Procedures: SVD, cerclages, C-Sections, TOLAC
- EMR System: Meditech
- Dress Code: Navy blue scrubs; no t-shirts, only solid blue/black/grey sweatshirts allowed
Required Certifications and Licenses
- ACLS
- AWHONN
- BLS
- NRP
- Registered Nurse License
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 2 years nursing experience in Labor and Delivery (higher value between stated 1 and 2 years)
- Preferred: Experience in a Level IV (high volume) unit
- Preferred: Previous HCA assignments/employment
- Competencies required: EFM, ACLS, BLS, NRP, SVE competency, C-Section circulation
- Preferred: Internal monitor placement competency
Unit Culture and Environment
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude preferred
- Stable and intermediate fetal monitoring equipment used (Novii, JADA, Fetal Pillow, IUPC, FSE, Toco, US)
- Permanent positions available on the unit
Additional Information
- No prior travel experience required

- Adherence to attendance policy expected
This position is ideal for experienced Labor and Delivery RNs seeking a 13-week travel assignment on a busy, well-equipped unit with supportive staff and no call requirements.
