• Required Certifications:

  • ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT registry, or Advanced register eligible
• Experience Required: 1+ years
• EMR System: EPIC
• Dress Code: Black scrubs

Job Responsibilities

• Perform MRI procedures independently and efficiently, coordinating patient flow.
• Conduct patient assessments following policies, protocols, and standards of practice.
• Evaluate orders, document contrast use, and monitor patient responses before, during, and after imaging.
• Recognize changes in patient condition and initiate appropriate actions or seek assistance.
• Demonstrate clinical expertise on all MRI equipment and assist in procedures as needed.
• Perform venipuncture proficiently.
• Ensure MRI safety by screening patients, visitors, and staff for contraindications and verifying MRI compatibility of implants and equipment.
• Monitor MRI equipment safety, including helium pressure and safety zones.
• Provide patient education tailored to individual needs and readiness to learn.
• Accurately document procedures, consents, and screenings in a timely manner.
• Participate in performance improvement processes to enhance patient care delivery.
• Assist with image verification, quality assurance, and preparation for radiologist review.
• Collaborate with physicians on PACS as needed.
• Support orientation and learning opportunities for team members and students.

• Proficient at venipuncture
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently
• Attention to MRI safety protocols and equipment monitoring
