Role Summary
- Travel RN role in CVOR.
- Unit: CVOR (703).
- Assignment length: 13 weeks.
- Shift: 11a-7p.
- Weekend: Rotating on call.
- Call required: Yes.
- Guaranteed hours: 36 per week.
- Floating: As needed.
- Patient load: 3-4 patients; travelers may be asked to care for admission holds.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Texas.
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
- 2 years of CVOR experience.
- CVOR experience within the last year.
- BLS.
- ACLS.
- PALS.
- Experience working with Cardiac Transplant patients.
- Heart Transplant Experience.
- Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump experience.
- Cell Saver.
- Peripheral Vascular experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Heart experience.
- Pediatric heart experience.
- Intra-aortic balloon pump experience.
- Adult heart transplant experience.
- Cell saver experience.
- Peripheral vascular experience.
- Meditech experience.
Procedures / Clinical Experience
- Coronary artery bypass.
- Surgical valve replacements.
