Overview

• Travel RN position in Florence, Alabama
• 2 openings
• 13-week contract
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Shift: 1900-0700
• Every other weekend
• No call requirements
• 48hr/wk guarantee available
• Blocked scheduling available

Unit Details

• 2nd floor- 2400/2500
• Trauma Level 2
• 31 beds
• Patient ratio: 1:4-1:5
• Patient population: adult and geriatric
• May float to medsurg, but not likely

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Alabama
• PCU - Progressive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
• PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
• BLS
• ACLS
• NIHSS
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Cardiac drips experience
• Chest tubes experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Critical care stepdown/PCU experience
• TR bands

• Cardiac drips
• Chest tubes

Common Patient Diagnoses / Treatments

• Post vascular
• Post CABG
• CVA
• Respiratory failure
• Heart failure
• Chest pain
• Post cath lab

Equipment / Systems

• Baxter IV pumps
• Occasional epidural pumps
• Meditech
