Overview

Travel RN position in Alamogordo, New Mexico
Full time
Multiple shifts available; start time can vary and will be confirmed in interview
Contract length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in New Mexico
ED - Emergency Department (1 year of experience)
ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association
ACLS issued by American Heart Association
PALS issued by American Heart Association
TNCC
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience working with Level 1 Trauma or Level 2 Trauma patients

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing
1 year of experience in the related nursing specialty

Additional Role Details

Patient mix includes clinic-type patients, strokes, STEMIs, Level I traumas, post-surgical complications, pregnancy complications, pediatrics, BH, and general ED care
New hires complete New Nurses Orientation within the first 30 days
New hires are precepted by a designated trained staff member and complete Emergency Department-specific competency validation
Newly licensed RNs may participate in a residency program or other specific orientation
Annual competency verification is required
