Job Overview

Travel RN position in Birmingham, Alabama
Specialty: Oncology
Contract length: 13 weeks
Shift: AM, 6:45 AM–7:15 PM
Weekly hours: 36
Weekend requirement: every other weekend
Call: none
Float: as needed

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Alabama
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Oncology (2 years of experience)
Oncology experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association
NIHSS
Med Surg experience

Unit Details

18-bed unit
Patient ratio: 6:1
Must have Med/Surg experience

Preferred Experience

Acute care experience

Patient Population

Oncology
Palliative care
Post-op bariatric
Med/Surg overflow

Work Environment

Uses basic medical equipment, including computer, IV pump, and vital sign machine
EMR: ePIC

Dress Code

Navy scrubs
Only scrubs and scrub jackets are allowed
