Job Overview

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Nevada
• Telemetry (2 years of experience)
• Telemetry experience within the last year
• BLS
• ACLS
• NIHSS
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Schedule / Assignment Details

• No call required
• May be required to float to telemetry or medically appropriate assignments, medical-surgical units, and other areas within competency
• May be required to work major holidays
• May be required to pick up one additional shift during the schedule period
• Schedule may include weekends, holidays, and some call shifts
• Subject to call-off for low census with 48 hours’ notice, including full or partial shifts

Patient Population / Unit Focus

• Telemetry patients with CHF, alcohol withdrawal, NSTEMI, sepsis, dysrhythmias, pneumonia, COPD, COVID, and post-procedure care including pacemakers, ablations, cath lab, and post-open-heart surgery patients downgraded from ICU
• Non-titratable cardiac medication drips may be used

Work Environment

• Busy, fast-paced setting serving a large regional patient population
• Level II trauma center with stroke accreditation
