Unit Overview
- High-risk OB unit with 25 beds
- Patient ratios range from 1:1 to 6:1
- Charge nurse/CNC each shift, with unit secretary when available
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Tennessee
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Labor and Delivery (2 years of experience)
- Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
- ACLS
- AWHONN
- BLS
- NRP
- C-section experience
- Magnesium drip experience
- Antepartum experience
Experience / Skills
- High-risk antepartum experience
- Labor and delivery experience
- C-section experience
- Experience with magnesium drips
- GYN experience
- Must be able to circulate C-sections
Scheduling / Floating
- 3 weekend shifts per schedule
- May float to OBED, mother baby, and labor and delivery
