RN - Cardiac Cath Lab (Travel Assignment)

Location: Wichita, Kansas
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36 hours (Day Shift: 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM)


Unit Information

  • Unit: Cardiovascular Lab (Cardiac Cath Lab)
  • Number of Beds: 4
  • Number of Staff: 12 (Day Shift: 3 Techs, 9 RNs including 2 travelers)
  • Patient Ratio: 1:1
  • Equipment: Phillips Fluoro
  • EMR Systems: Mac Lab, Meditech

Typical Procedures

  • Cardiac drips
  • Angioplasty
  • Stenting

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Kansas
  • Cardiac Cath Lab experience within the last year (minimum 1 year)
  • Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
  • Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Mac Lab and Meditech EMR systems
