Registered Nurse - ICU Stepdown

Location: Fort Smith, Arkansas

Position Details

Specialty: ICU Stepdown
Shift: Nights (3 shifts of 12 hours each, 36 hours/week)
Weekend Hours: Every other weekend
Call Requirements: None
Number of Openings: 1
Float Requirements: Yes, as needed

Patient Ratios: 4:1
Equipment: Philips bedside monitors
EMR System: EPIC

Required Certifications

ACLS
BLS
NIHSS

Requirements/Qualifications

Valid RN license in Arkansas
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Minimum 1 year of Stepdown experience, with Stepdown experience within the last year
Experience with post-cardiovascular surgeries
Experience with post-stroke care
Experience titrating cardiac drips including Nitro, Cardizem, Amiodarone, and Esmolol
Experience using BiPAP devices
Experience utilizing Airvo devices
Experience caring for stroke patients
