Registered Nurse (Med Surg) - Travel Assignment

Location

Indianapolis, Indiana
Unit: Medical 4 South
Number of beds on unit: 30
Patient ratio: 1 nurse to 5 patients
EMR system: Epic

Position Details

Employment type: Travel contract
Contract length: 16 weeks
Shift hours: 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM (night shift)
Weekly guaranteed hours: 36
Weekend shifts: Every 3rd weekend
Float requirements: Yes

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Indiana
Minimum 3 years of Med Surg nursing experience, including experience within the last year
BLS certification
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Unit and Patient Information

Patient population: Medical-surgical patients
Preferred scrub color: Navy blue

Additional Notes

Candidate will replace an existing staff member
Reporting location includes parking details on Heart Center 4th floor - Medical 4 South
No call requirements specified
No prior travel experience required
Candidate may be required to complete education modules prior to first day
