CT Tech - Radiology (Travel Position)

Location: Franklin, North Carolina
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

• Weekend day shifts (Friday, Saturday, Sunday)
• Work in a 30-bed critical access hospital radiology/CT unit
• Average patient volume: ~71 imaging procedures per day (X-ray/CT combined)
• Equipment includes GE Revolution 128-slice CT, GE digital portables, digital fluoro, and X-ray
• EMR systems: Cerner and Philips Intellispace PACS

Unit Information

• Staff: 14-15 techs total
• Day shift: 5 techs during the week with overlapping X-ray/CT coverage; 2 techs on CT/X-ray on weekends
• Night shift: 2 techs until 10 PM-midnight, then 1 tech until 7 AM
• Floating area includes X-ray/CT
• Dress code: Navy or black scrubs

Required Qualifications

• Valid CT Technologist license in North Carolina
• Minimum 1 year of CT Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
• Radiology Technologist experience
• ARRT Registered Technologist (RT(R)) certification
• BLS certification

Typical Procedures

• Routine CT and imaging procedures
• Code Stroke CT imaging with perfusion studies

• Protocols for exams are set by radiologists and posted onsite
• Facility protocols include patient identification and safety guidelines
