Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room (OR) Circulator

Position Summary

• Role: RN Circulator in Operating Room
• Specialty focus: Primarily Neuro Surgery with General Surgery cases including Urology, Gynecology, and Orthopedics
• Shift: Day shift, 4x10 hour shifts per week (36 hours/week)
• Schedule specifics: Limit of 3 Fridays or Mondays off in a 6-week schedule
• Call: Rotating weekend call approximately every 6-7 days; scheduled late shifts that require staying late if needed
• Patient type: Surgical patients

Requirements/Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Missouri
• Minimum 1 year of OR circulating experience within the last year
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Driver's License
• Experience in Urology, OB/GYN, and Orthopedic Surgery

Certifications & Licensure

• Current RN license valid in Missouri
• BLS certification (American Heart Association only)

Work Environment & Equipment

• Operating Room setting
• Equipment used: DaVinci Xi robot, Hana Table, Arthrex tower, Beach Chair
• Electronic Medical Record system: EPIC

Additional Requirements

• Flu vaccination required for all travelers from November 1 through April 1 (exemptions require client approval)
• Dress code: Hospital-provided scrubs in black only; no other scrub colors allowed

This position is ideal for an experienced OR RN with neuro and general surgery circulating experience who is comfortable working in a fast-paced surgical environment and is willing to take rotating call and late shifts as needed.
