Position Details

Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab
Employment Type: Travel
Number of Openings: 2
Shift Hours: Monday to Friday, 4 shifts per week, 9 hours each (40 hours guaranteed)
Shift Start Times: Rotating between 6:30 AM, 7:00 AM, and 8:00 AM
Weekend Requirement: On-call weekends with 8-10 call shifts in a 4-week schedule
Float Requirements: None

Unit Information

Number of Beds: 2 labs
Patient Ratios: 1:1
Patient Types: Cardiology, Vascular, and Interventional Radiology
Equipment Used: Xper, Philips, Balloon Pump, Impella
Electronic Medical Record (EMR) System: Epic Cupid

Required Certifications and Tests

ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
BLS (Basic Life Support)
EKG Test (required)

Requirements/Qualifications

Valid RN license in Indiana
Minimum 2 years of experience in Cardiac Cath Lab nursing, including experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Sedation competency
Circulation competency

Dress Code: Light blue surgical scrubs (hospital issued)

Shift teams rotate start times and have one rotating day off
