RN - Cardiac Cath Lab

Job Overview

• Travel RN role in Lewisville, Texas
• 13-week contract
• 36 hours per week
• Shift hours: 0600-1630 with a rotating off-day each week

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Texas
• Cardiac Cath Lab (1 year of experience)
• Cardiac Cath Lab experience within the last year
• ACLS
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Experienced scrub nurse skills
• Experienced monitor nurse skills

Preferred Experience

• Experienced scrub
• Experienced to monitor

Unit Details

• Cardiac cath/EP lab
• Patient ratio: 1:1 team
• Rotating on-call coverage with at least 3 team members
• Rotating minimum of 2 weekends per month

Procedures Performed

• Left heart cath
• PCI
• Pacemaker and ICD implants
• TEE
• Cardioversion
• Loop recorders
• EP studies and EP ablations

Skills and Work Environment

• Can float within the facility where the skill set is applicable
• Can float to a sister facility within a reasonable radius
• Ceil blue scrubs
• Requires attention to detail, calm under pressure, teamwork, compassion, adaptability, flexibility, strong communication, and physical stamina
