Unit Information

Surgical Robotics (Med/Surg)
24 beds
Patient ratio: 5:1
Staff on night shift: 1 charge nurse, 5 nurses, 1-2 techs
Equipment: Medical/surgical
EMR system: Meditech

Typical Procedures

Post-operative assessments and care
Post-prostatectomy care
Post-hysterectomy care
Continuous bladder irrigation (CBI)
Pain management including PCA and epidurals
Foley catheter maintenance

Requirements/Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Colorado
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Minimum 1 year of ICU (Intensive Care Unit) experience within the last year
Med/Surg experience
Post-operative experience
Rapid Response experience
Experience with MEDITECH EMR system
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification

Preferred Experience

Gynecology/Oncology experience
Urology experience
