Job Opportunity: CT Technologist
Location: Dodgeville, Wisconsin
Contract Length: 13 weeks (approximately 3 months)

Job Details
Schedule:
- 5 days per week, 8-hour shifts (5/8s)
- Night shift: 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. (no option for 10- or 12-hour shifts)
- Weekend work possible
- Call may be required with a 20-minute response time
- No holiday requirement
Work Environment:
- Hospital setting with multiple imaging modalities
- Department has 1 general room, 1 general/fluoro room, 1 portable unit, 2 C-Arms, 1 bone density unit, 1 CT scanner, and 1 MRI
- Must float/cover X-Ray, CT, and C-Arm areas across outpatient, inpatient, and ER settings
Imaging & Procedures:
- General imaging, CT scans (head, neck, abdomen, chest, spine, joint, trauma with reconstruction, limited interventional radiology)
- Fluoroscopy procedural work, minimal interventional radiology
- Surgical procedures including hips, small joints, cholecystectomy, port placement
- Average daily volumes vary: X-Ray 35+, Mammography 12-17, CT 8-25, Bone Density 2-4, Surgery & Pain Clinic procedures 2-10
Technology & Systems:
- PACS system: Merge
- EMR system: EPIC
- Equipment includes GE, Phillips, Siemens brands:
- 2 C-ARM (OEC)
- 1 Bone Density (GE Lunar)
- 1 Portable (GE AMX4)
- 1 General room (GE Definium)
- Digital Plates x2 (VIVIX)
- CT scanner (GE VCT 64 Slice)
Supervision:
- Imaging Director oversees the department
- No Registered Radiology Assistants (RRAs) on site
- Radiologist coverage: In-house 1-2 days Monday-Friday; remote reads 24/7 with a rotating group of specialists
Additional Notes:
- Ability to start IVs is preferred but not mandatory
- Scrubs provided; dress code color is black
- Orientation provided on-site
Required Qualifications
- Certified CT Technologist (ARRT CT certification required)
- Wisconsin state license for CT technologists
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a multi-modality position covering both CT and X-Ray technologies
Summary
This is a hospital-based CT Technologist role requiring multi-modality skills in CT and X-Ray, with night shift hours and some weekend and call responsibilities. The position demands flexibility to cover multiple imaging areas and familiarity with a variety of imaging equipment and software systems. Candidates must hold appropriate certifications and licenses, have at least one year of relevant experience, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced hospital environment.
