Job Description

Seeking an experienced Physical Therapist for a travel assignment in Home Health. The role involves providing skilled therapy primarily to orthopedic and geriatric patients with multiple comorbidities such as CHF and COPD.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist
• Active California Physical Therapy license
• BLS Certification

Work Details

• Average daily census: 78 patients (expected to grow)
• Typical caseload: Approximately 5 visits per day
• Patient types: Orthopedic/joint replacements, geriatric patients with multiple comorbidities
• Service area covers most of Tehama County with some travel required (approx. 40 miles per day, expected to decrease)
• Occasional Saturday shifts for orthopedic patients
• Holidays off
• Work hours: 8-hour day shifts, every other week schedule
• EMR system: Netsmart (laptop provided)
• No call or vent care required

• Staff includes intake RN and office manager support
• Nurse aides available
• No floor-specific orientation required
