Job Opportunity: RN (Registered Nurse) - Endo/GI

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Endo/GI nursing experience
• Active California nursing license
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• COVID-19 vaccination required

Job Details

• Unit: Endoscopy/GI Lab
• Average procedures per day: 3-5 cases, including emergency cases
• EMR system: Cerner-Surginet
• Charge nurse responsibilities included
• Call required on weekends and holidays (every other weekend)
• Floating required to PACU/ACU
• Shift length: 8 hours, varied shifts
• Floor-specific orientation: 2-3 days
• Common procedures: EGD, Colonoscopy, ERCP, MRCP, biopsies
• Special scrubs provided by department
• Hospitalist or Intensivist available in-house
• Respiratory Therapy available 24/7
• Pharmacy available 24/7

• Must be first to float
• Call included as part of the schedule
