Job Opportunity: Xray Tech (Rad Tech)

Location: Burien, Washington
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

An experienced Xray Tech is needed for a travel contract in Washington. The position is within the Radiology department, focusing on General X-Ray Tech duties.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as an Xray Tech
• Active ARRT (R) certification
• Valid Washington State Radiologic Technologist License (WA License) at time of application
• BLS (AHA) certification

Job Details

• Department: Radiology - General X-Ray Tech
• Number of Xray rooms: 2
• Imaging/Studies performed: Fluoroscopy, Surgery (OR), Emergency Department X-ray, Inpatient, Portable X-rays
• Average scans per day: Approximately 30
• EMR/PACS systems used: McKesson, EPIC
• Equipment: GE, Siemens
• No floating or coverage of other areas required
• No IV starts required
• No call or standby requirements

Schedule

• Shift: 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Days: Thursday through Saturday
• Orientation: One week, Monday to Friday, day shift

Additional Information

• Must provide own radiation badge (facility does not provide)
• Scrubs provided (basic color)
