ICU Registered Nurse (RN) - Travel Assignment

Location: Osage Beach, Missouri
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts (7 PM - 7 AM), every other weekend
Hours: Approximately 36 hours per week (72 hours per pay period)
Start Date: ASAP

Job Description

• Work primarily in ICU with some PCU (Progressive Care Unit) coverage.
• Unit includes 18 beds.
• Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:4 in PCU, lower ratio in ICU.
• The unit is cardiac-heavy with frequent vasoactive drips and requires rhythm knowledge.
• PCU is a designated stroke unit.
• May be the first to float to other units within the hospital during low census (approximately 1 shift per 4 weeks).
• Meditech experience is highly preferred.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Missouri
• Minimum 2 years of ICU (Intensive Care Unit) nursing experience, including experience within the last year
• Experience in PCU (Progressive Care Unit)
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Certifications required:

  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
  • TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
  • NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)

Additional Information

• Shift pattern: 3 shifts of 12 hours each, nights.
• Low census shifts approximately 1 per 4 weeks.
