Respiratory Therapist

Location

Boise, Idaho

Assignment Length

13 weeks

Shift

Nights, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM

Schedule

36 hours per week
Every other weekend
Holidays required if the assignment falls on a holiday

Setting

Inpatient respiratory therapy
May float to Meridian Medical Center and Nampa Medical Center

Required Qualifications

Respiratory therapist experience:
- 2-3 years if RRT
- 3-5 years if CRT
BLS
ACLS
NRP
PALS
RRT preferred; CRT accepted with the stated experience
Must be able to assist with intubation
Must be able to manage respiratory equipment, treatments, transport, and ABGs
Must be able to work with adult, pediatric, and NICU patients as assigned
Must know NAVA on Cervo vents if covering NICU

Additional Details

First-time travelers are accepted
No call or standby call
Typical orientation is 2-3 shifts, with additional unit-specific orientation if covering pediatrics, NICU, or adult ICU
Radius rule applies: candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility
