Respiratory Therapist
Location
- Boise, Idaho
Assignment Length
- 13 weeks
Shift
- Nights, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
Schedule
- 36 hours per week
- Every other weekend
- Holidays required if the assignment falls on a holiday
Setting
- Inpatient respiratory therapy
- May float to Meridian Medical Center and Nampa Medical Center
Required Qualifications
- Respiratory therapist experience:
- 2-3 years if RRT
- 3-5 years if CRT
- BLS
- ACLS
- NRP
- PALS
- RRT preferred; CRT accepted with the stated experience
- Must be able to assist with intubation
- Must be able to manage respiratory equipment, treatments, transport, and ABGs
- Must be able to work with adult, pediatric, and NICU patients as assigned
- Must know NAVA on Cervo vents if covering NICU
Additional Details
- First-time travelers are accepted
- No call or standby call
- Typical orientation is 2-3 shifts, with additional unit-specific orientation if covering pediatrics, NICU, or adult ICU
- Radius rule applies: candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility
