Registered Nurse (OR RN) - Days

Location: Aitkin, Minnesota
Contract Length: 13 weeks (approximately 3 months)
Shift: Days
Hours: 9 hours per day, 36 hours per week (typically 4 days/week, 10-hour shifts)

Job Description

• Perioperative Registered Nurse working in the Operating Room (OR)
• Full-time, 4 days per week with a 40-hour guarantee
• Call required: one after-hours call day per week and every 6th weekend
• Work schedule generally between 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM
• No float assignments
• Rotation length expected between 12-16 weeks
• Start date: ASAP

Facility & Environment

• 25-bed Critical Access Hospital
• 3 Operating Room suites and 2 GI procedure rooms
• Surgical specialties include Orthopedic, Urology, General Surgery, OB/GYN, Robotics, ENT, GI, Gynecology, Ophthalmology, and Podiatry
• No Cardiology or Neurology cases

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Minnesota
• Minimum 5 years of Operating Room (OR) experience, including experience within the last year
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• ACLS certification
• BLS certification
• Experience in Orthopedics, Urology, and OB/GYN

Additional Information

• Travel distance: approximately 1.5 hours to Duluth, 2.5 hours to Minneapolis
• 9-hour shifts for 36 hours per week plus call requirements
