Travel Registered Nurse

Location

Omaha, Nebraska

Assignment Length

13 weeks

Schedule

12-hour day shifts
Every other weekend
No block or self-scheduling

Unit Overview

Combined cardio, general ICU, PCU, and MedSurg unit
Generalist ICU and PCU experience accepted
Patient population includes intermediate care and downgraded CVICU patients
RN-to-patient ratios include 1:4, with 1:3 for post-surgical patients in the first 24 hours

Required Qualifications

Active RN license
1 year of experience with this patient population
BLS
ACLS
NIHSS
Driver’s license required at submittal

Clinical Expectations

Must be able to titrate drips
Must read and interpret telemetry strips
May float to same or lower acuity levels

Unit Support

Charge nurse present on each shift
Nurse aides/patient care techs available
Hospitalist and intensivist in house 24/7
Respiratory therapy available 24/7

Additional Notes

RTO must be submitted upfront; no additional RTO will be approved after submission
Artificial nails are prohibited in patient care areas
Navy blue scrubs required
