Required Qualifications
- Active California RN license
- BLS
- ACLS
- NRP
- Advanced AWHONN fetal monitoring
- 2+ years of experience in Labor & Delivery
Job Details
- Travel assignment for an experienced Labor & Delivery RN
- 8-room unit that can expand to 10 rooms
- Patient ratios range from 1:1 to 1:3
- Weekend rotation required
- Floating to Mother Baby
- 3 shifts of unit orientation
- Charge nurse does not take patients
- Central fetal heart monitoring
- No ventilator support
- OB/GYN in house
- IV team available during the day
- Respiratory therapy and pharmacy available 24/7
- Common patient types include high-risk, PIH, preeclampsia, addiction, preterm, and magnesium sulfate cases
- Level III NICU in house
- Locked unit

- Hospital-provided ceil blue scrubs
- OB techs are available and can also function as nurse aides
- Lactation consultants on staff
- Baby-friendly unit
- Ability to scrub is a plus
