RN (Registered Nurse) — Chemotherapy Infusion

Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Schedule

• Day shift
• 36 hours per week
• 9-hour shifts
• Varied start times, approximately 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with potential shifts as late as 6:00 PM
• Occasional weekends required

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Oregon
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• BLS
• ONS/ONCC
• 2 years of infusion experience
• Infusion experience within the last year
• Experience in IV therapy with excellent IV skills
• Prior experience with chemotherapy/immunotherapy administration

Key Responsibilities

• Administer chemotherapy and immunotherapy via IV, IM, and SQ routes
• Administer antibiotics, biologics, blood products, and other supportive care infusions
• Perform therapeutic phlebotomy
• Maintain central lines, including PICC dressing changes and PAC flushes

Unit Details

• Outpatient infusion setting with 33 chairs and 2 private rooms
• Typical patient load is 6–9 patients, depending on acuity
• Team-based environment with RN partners and CNA support

Training

• 2–3 days of precepted unit training
