Overview

• Location: Fairview, Pennsylvania
• Setting: Long-term care / skilled nursing facility
• Shift: Evenings
• Schedule: 4 days per week
• Hours: 8.25-hour shifts
• Weekly hours: 38
• Contract length: 15 weeks

Required Qualifications

• Valid LPN / LVN license in Pennsylvania
• Long Term Care (1 year of experience)
• Long Term Care experience within the last year
• BLS
• Driver's License
• Experience measuring wounds
• Experience with Point-Click Care

Schedule Requirements

• Every other weekend
• Holidays as scheduled
• No call or standby

Work Environment

• Floor nurse role with both RN and LPN staff on the unit
• May be assigned to any area as needed
• Consistent placement is preferred when possible

Clinical Responsibilities

• Medication and treatment administration
• Blood glucose monitoring and insulin administration
• IV medications
• TPN and tube feedings
• Wound care and wound measurement
• Lab draws and specimen collection
• Foley/catheter care
• Tracheostomy care
• ADL assistance
• Assessment charting
• Incident reports
• Vital sign monitoring
• Oxygen administration and management

Additional Notes

• Orientation is 3 days
• Must use facility timeclock
• Scrubs may be any clean, professional color except camo
